Trying to understand the thinking behind the music or rhythm - what was their “language”? - was like trying to assemble a puzzle that I couldn’t quite master in a short period of time.Īll these experiences contributed to the richness of my musical language and prepared me to move on to another challenge. While I was touring in Morocco, I had the opportunity to discover the musical roots of another culture, and it impressed me deeply. I played mostly in Europe, and visited a few other places around the world as well. Because I’m very curious by nature, it led me to explore diverse musical styles through working with different bands. And as it turns out, playing music from others has taught me many valuable things. Though my dream was to compose music for all sorts of media, and especially for films and TV, I actually started my career as a live musician. I’ve always considered myself a real adventurer, both in life and in work.
